Agreement to Terms

By texting Remyndrs (+1-855-552-1950) or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Description of Service

Remyndrs is a text message-based reminder, list management, and memory storage service powered by artificial intelligence. You interact with Remyndrs entirely via text messages—no app required.

What You Can Do

• Set one-time and recurring reminders
• Create and manage lists (grocery, to-do, etc.)
• Save memories and information for later recall
• Retrieve saved information by asking questions
• Manage your account and subscription via text message

Text Message Service Terms

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your usage and depends on how many reminders, lists, and memories you create:

• Free Tier: Up to 2 reminders per day (plus your messages to us)
• Premium Tier: Unlimited reminders per day (plus your messages to us)
• Service Messages: Occasional account notifications (trial expiration, payment issues, updates)

You control the frequency by controlling how many reminders you set.

Carrier Charges

Important: Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. Remyndrs does not charge for individual text messages, but your mobile carrier may. Check your plan for text messaging costs.

Supported Carriers

Remyndrs works with all major U.S. carriers including:

• AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile
• U.S. Cellular, Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile
• Most prepaid and MVNO carriers

International carrier support is limited. Contact us to confirm availability in your country.

Opt-Out & Customer Support

• To stop all messages: Text STOP at any time
• For help: Text HELP or email support@remyndrs.com
• To reactivate: Text START again to resume service

Account & Subscription

Free Trial

• All new users receive a 14-day free Premium Tier trial of Premium features
• No credit card required to start
• Trial automatically converts to free tier after 14 days (not charged)
• Upgrade to Premium anytime during or after trial

Subscription Tiers

Free Tier (Always Available):

• 2 reminders per day
• 5 lists (10 items each)
• 5 saved memories
• No credit card required
• Available forever

Premium Tier ($8.99/month or $89.99/year):

• Unlimited reminders per day
• 20 lists (30 items each)
• Unlimited memories
• Recurring reminders
• Priority support

Billing & Payment

• Premium subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe (we never see your card details)
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel
• You can cancel anytime via Stripe Customer Portal (text ACCOUNT to get a link)
• No refunds for partial months, but service continues until end of billing period

Cancellation & Downgrade

• Cancel Premium: Text ACCOUNT to get your Stripe Customer Portal link
• Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period
• After cancellation, your account automatically moves to the free tier
• All your data is preserved (reminders, lists, memories)
• You can re-subscribe anytime by texting UPGRADE

Service Availability & Reliability

Uptime

We strive for 99.9% uptime, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Factors beyond our control may affect service availability:

• Mobile carrier network outages
• Text message delivery delays (typically messages arrive within seconds, but carriers may delay up to 24 hours)
• Infrastructure provider issues (Render, Twilio, etc.)
• Natural disasters, power outages, or force majeure events

No Liability for Missed Reminders

Important: Remyndrs is a convenience tool, not a safety-critical service. We are not liable for:

• Missed reminders due to service outages or carrier delays
• Incorrect reminder times due to timezone errors
• Consequences of missed appointments, medications, or tasks
• Lost data due to service disruptions

Do not rely on Remyndrs for life-critical reminders (medication, medical appointments, emergencies). Always use multiple backup systems for critical tasks.

Acceptable Use

Permitted Uses

Remyndrs is intended for personal, lawful use for setting reminders, managing lists, and storing information.

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use Remyndrs to:

• Spam: Send unsolicited messages or use the service for bulk messaging
• Share Accounts: Your account is for individual use only
• Hack or Disrupt: Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
• Store Illegal Content: Save illegal, harmful, or infringing material
• Impersonate: Pretend to be someone else or misrepresent your identity
• Violate Laws: Use the service in any way that violates local, state, or federal laws

Consequences of Misuse

Violation of these terms may result in:

• Warning and temporary service suspension
• Permanent account termination without refund
• Legal action if warranted

Intellectual Property

• Remyndrs, our logo, and branding are trademarks of Remyndrs, Inc.
• You retain ownership of your reminder text, lists, and memories
• You grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the service
• We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the service

AI Processing & Accuracy

Natural Language Understanding

Remyndrs uses OpenAI's GPT models to understand your messages. While highly accurate, AI is not perfect:

• Reminders may occasionally be misinterpreted (e.g., wrong date or time)
• Ambiguous messages may result in confirmation requests
• You should always review confirmation messages for accuracy

No Guarantee of Accuracy

We strive for high accuracy but do not guarantee that:

• Every message will be interpreted correctly
• Saved memories will be perfectly recalled
• Timezone conversions will always be accurate

Always double-check important reminders and critical information.

Data Ownership & Export

• You own your data: All reminder text, lists, and memories belong to you
• Export anytime: Email support@remyndrs.com to request a data export (JSON format)
• Delete anytime: Text "DELETE ACCOUNT" to permanently delete all your data
• Deleted data is removed from our systems within 30 days

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Remyndrs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months
• Some states don't allow exclusions of implied warranties, so these may not apply to you

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Remyndrs from claims arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the service
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of any third-party rights

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes:

• We'll update the "Last Updated" date
• We'll notify you via text message with a link to the new terms
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• If you don't agree, you can cancel your account

Governing Law & Disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Kentucky, USA
• Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kentucky
• You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Remyndrs.
